Are you scared to die?

Today I visited one of my dear friends on post.  WE were talking about this hole Jackson thing with dying.  In the conversation she was telling me that when her and her husband flies she get 2 separate tickets on 2 separate planes. In this conversation I learned that she was scared that they both would die, and who would take care of the kids!! So that was my chance to tell her how God would take care of her kids, How everything is in Gods timing. She believes in God and that's all!  So my challenge while I'm still here is to show her Gods love.

Hes coming home on Tuesday, he is healing,and I'm learning

We still have a long road, with some 2nd opinions with the traumatic brain injury.

After Duane was shot in Iraq I made a bag and put on it WE ARE SURVIVORS

I look at it and thank God that we are!!

things are looking good!

We visited Duane yesterday, he looks better than he has! I felt peace! Im sure that we are not out of the woods yet, but I see the light! The boys are leaving Sunday for boy scout camp,I will have some time to myself!  

Thanks to call who have prayed for our family! God is healing!

Its been a very bad day for Duane!

Yesterday I said goodbye to a very dear friend of Duanes who is on his way to another deployment. He was with Duane when he was injured in Iraq.  It brought back so many memories for me! I spent some time talking with his mother listening to her fears, remembering mine. His wife and brand new baby are strong, as this is her first deployment, but I know she will do fine!

She reminds me of myself of independancy and courage! 

God gives us all special gifts to be able to get thru life, as I look back thats what God gave me courage to get thru anything and to be able to stand tall when life is not tall! and independance to be able to go time with out my husband by my side both physically and mentally.

I will be praying for our friends during this time that they will be strong and take care of themselves both physically,mentally and spiritually.

So amazing

Its so amazing what God does in our lives! He is working on Duane and I do see improvements, little ones but thats ok!!

I know and believe that God is placing very important people in my life right now! A very dear friend stopped by today and was telling me that she had lunch with a friend( I have meet her)

she told my friend that if I need someone that understands what Im going thru she would love to visit with me! Her husband also was injured in Iraq! Now thats awesome! I have my family and friends but no one that is living the same life as me! I pray that I can help her heal also!

God as also brought my best friend from high school back into my life! She is awesome I love seeing how God is using her! Also I love that she is so caring, understand ,loving ,Godly women!

Se has prayed with me and for me! Thank you!

The boys and I had a great day today! I love seeing them become Godly men!
